Sherie Nelson-Allen, Msc. Dip Ed, OCT

 Life Coach, Educator and Training Consultant

Sherie Nelson-Allen is the Founder of the Learning Habitat School. Sherie holds a Master's in Human Resources, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and is an Ontario Certified Teacher.  With over 15 years’ experience in HR management, program delivery, mentoring, and curriculum development fueled by a passion for helping others, Sherie has detailed knowledge and understanding of what it takes to succeed in the field of education.


A trailblazing educator, Sherie's insatiable love of knowledge allows her to continually learn and evolve, embrace new modalities and passionately transfer gleaned information to others, mentoring learners of all ages to exceed societal expectations and become the best versions of themselves. Since founding The Learning Habitat in 2017, Sherie has worked to educate and empower learners of varying abilities from preschool to Grade 8, enabling them to surpass learning barriers and stereotypes. In addition to being an Adjunct Lecturer at Conestoga College and an Independent Consultant for Corporate Training, Sherie is also a certified Life Coach providing support to adults in the areas of career, relationships, and purposeful living.


An avid learner, Sherie is currently pursuing studies to become a Licensed Psychotherapist and Counselling Psychologist, with the goal of contributing significantly to the mental health field. Sherie is a two-time published author. She is a tactful negotiator and an adept problem solver who ensures positive outcomes for all stakeholders. Extroverted, empathetic, diligent, and motivated, she is dedicated to investing in the true heart of any organization—its people. Her experiences have made her a firm believer in the indomitable human spirit and its ability to rise above adversity.
